The Tools4Inclusion (T4I) initiative aims to empower young people through cooperation, encouraging them to become responsible and actively engaged citizens in promoting inclusive communities. One of the key activities that most excites and mobilizes the youth is the organization of three international mobility experiences in Hungary, Malta, and Portugal. The primary goal of these T4I mobilities is to reflect on inclusion through personal experiences, fostering opportunities for participants to share their perspectives and visions across different cultures.
From June 4 to 7, 2024, a total of 26 young people, parents, teachers, and professionals from the three partner countries gathered in Budapest, Hungary, for the first T4I mobility event. This initial meeting aimed to engage key stakeholders in the initiative and focus on the complex approach to inclusion by exploring theoretical and practical concepts, as well as personal experiences.
Throughout the four-day event, participants had the opportunity to get to know each other better, deepen their understanding of inclusion and discrimination, and gain insights into the realities of the Romani communities in Hungary through field visits, reflection sessions, and workshops. In addition to the educational program, there was also time to explore the city and discover its unique charm.
Our next meeting will take place in Malta at the end of this year.
