About

Empowering vulnerable young people in their communities to take responsibility for reducing social inequalities through diversity and inclusion.

Tools4Inclusion initiative goal is to empower young people to promote more diverse, cohesive and inclusive communities. On one hand, by working with young people in situations of greater vulnerability – namely from the Romani community, in refugee situations or with experience of migration – and, on the other hand, by involving young people from majority communities so that they take on an active and responsible role in reducing social inequalities.

diversity and inclusion

Goal

The aim is to encourage cooperation between different groups in the community, focusing on development and mutual learning, learning about each other and learning about others. Involving young people in empowering children (and other young people) and their families – who are in a more disadvantaged situation from a social point of view – is a strategy that encourages social co-responsibility, volunteering, civic participation, openness to other people and their differences and promotes social cohesion, while also breaking down chains of segregation.

Tools4Inclusion is a project co-funded by the European Union.

Bagázs Közhasznú Egyesület

The main goal of the association is to make a change in the attitudes, and in the social realities of the segregates and their surroundings. This, therefore, means an impact bigger than the micro- and mezzo-environments (people living on the settlements, local institutions and the population of the village); it is instead an impact on a wider a scale, to more social layers. All this can only be achieved if we jointly set up changes in the community of the Roma settlements and in the majority society. Our association seeks to make the Roma people more capable, while at the same time sensitizing and making more accepting the people belonging to the majority society. Our goal has always been supplemented by the hundreds of volunteers participating in the association’s work and helping however much they can. They are directly involved in professional work – therefore we are able to sensitize the majority society as well. Our employees and our 120 volunteers work in support of each other.

global human dignity

Global Human Dignity

Our foundation is a young, internationally active NGO registered in Malta, whose staff and volunteers come from many countries around the world, including Canada, Libya, Jordan, the UK, Bosnia and Hungary, all of us obtaining decades long experiences.

We believe that all children are talented and that it is up to the adults around them to make the most of their potential. We also believe that even among children in difficult family and financial circumstances, there may be those who can find a means, cure or method for the difficulties and challenges of the near future that will make our lives better, safer or more sustainable.

An important element of our mission is to prepare the most deprived children and young adults so that they can continue their studies online efficiently and successfully. We believe that online education is not only a coercive solution, but also an important methodological element for the knowledge transfer of the future.
