Tools4Inclusion initiative goal is to empower young people to promote more diverse, cohesive and inclusive communities. On one hand, by working with young people in situations of greater vulnerability – namely from the Romani community, in refugee situations or with experience of migration – and, on the other hand, by involving young people from majority communities so that they take on an active and responsible role in reducing social inequalities

As participants in the programme, we regularly report on our progress.

We have also had some great meetings in Bag and Dány, where participants from the Malta training week once again shared their experiences and key takeaways with others. This wasn’t the first time we heard from them—earlier, at the support evening in Bagázs, they spoke about how the Malta training broadened their horizons, boosted their confidence, and made them feel like a new person.

During the meeting, we watched a short video about our trip to Malta and discussed the “Step One Forward” method. In a nutshell, this exercise highlights the injustices in our world and the importance of working towards equal opportunities—because everyone has a responsibility in making change happen. This interactive activity helped us better understand how social inequality shapes our lives.

What’s next?

✅ A youth e-learning training will launch soon, followed by a retreat in the Mátra mountains.

✅ An inclusive programme will kick off in spring, open to 13-year-olds!

But that’s not all! Alongside young people, adults are also stepping up—ready to speak out against racism and exclusion, whether in conversations with journalists or through podcasts.

Community meetings will continue, and our goal remains the same: to build a more inclusive society, together!

Tools for Inclusion (T4I) is an international programme that helps young people build more inclusive and cohesive communities.
